Our Story

On the Fielder Family Farm we strive to make a quality meat product that is affordable, nutritious and sustainable. In 2019, the Fielder farm completed its transition from pasture raised dairy to pasture raised beef.

The Fielder Family first began dairy farming in lower Harford County in the 1920s. During the 1950s, we relocated to our current location in northern Harford County. For over 80 years, we had a family dairy operation. Four generations of Fielders have worked to maintain the farm.

However, in the last decade, we saw a need for a change and wanted to provide a quality agricultural product we could sell directly to consumers. Our pastures are a natural fit for a grass based Angus beef operation. We continue to be a family farm operation that focuses on sustainable agriculture and provides a quality product to neighbors.

A note about our beef: All of our cows are grass fed, however our grain finished option includes cows that received several weeks of grain prior to market. All our beef has been butchered by Smuckers Meat, a USDA butcher from Mount Joy, PA.
